• 61 inches is just about the bare minimum you will need as the feet are like 60 inches apart tip to tip

• For what it's worth, I have a 60" IKEA low boy credenza, approximately 16" deep. width wasn't a problem but depth was. I ended up getting a couple of shelves and mounted them to either side with a couple of L brackets in the back and have them on there. Not optimal, but I wasn't about to go on another search for another media center. I apologize for not having exact measurements for the stand, but you'll need at approximately 19-20 inches of depth and more than likely close to 60 inches for width. (I have about 4 inches of clearance on either side)
