Same thing happened to my first 85" HiSense. Two years and two months old, it got the black screen of death. I bought this one, but this time I got the 5-year protection. Buyer beware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wow this is insane bought my 85in Hisense Jan 2021 and it did the same thing a couple of days ago completely dark, has sound, no picture, called customer service nothing they could do about it because warranty expired, also said this issue is new to them never heard of it happening before. Wow no more Hisense televisions for me!! Guess thats why they're so inexpensive compared to other brands!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you should get used to the black screen of death as part of the planned obsolescence strategy. My 70" Samsung TV did the same thing a couple of months ago, hence why I'm shopping now. It makes me mad because it's wildly expensive to fix, I'd be better off buying a new unit. The TV manufacturers don't want you enjoying a unit for 15 years anymore, so they make them fail on purpose - just as the warranty expires, no less. Someone should file a class action against these manufacturers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My 75" Hisense did the same thing about a year and a half after purchasing it. One at a time, I tried replacing the t-con board, the main board, the power board, and all the connecting cables, with no luck. TV worked great until it just quit. I will never buy another on of these without some type of extended warranty for sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From where, did you get an extended 5-years warranty?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 75" and guess what, 2 years 10 months down the road which ended yesterday my screen has gone black. Time for a new one but unlikely it will be a hisense brand

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wonder if this is just something with newer tvs. My 85 inch Hisense is about to be delivered. The only reason I went with that brand is because my current 60 inch Hisense is still going strong, and I've had it since 2012. No issues whatsoever.
