- Answer The Geek Squad installed my new Smart TV with ROKU streaming last year. This year they installed my Nighthawk (Netgear) modem and ORBI WIFI system and it is faster and better quality signal. If your phone is an IPHONE, you simply go to settings and turn on WIFI Calling. Be aware that if you turn on WIFI Assist, which is another setting, that will greatly increase your data usage, at least it did for me. WIFI calling alone does not.

QuestionI will be buying the Negear Orbi RBK 50 mesh wifi system. Can it be installed with out problems from my Verizon Fios modem/router to ensure continued TV service, too?

- Answer Yes works seamlessly with Verizon Fios, and improves need to reconnect individual items when signal is lost thru electrical system. Very good upgrade worth money.

- Answer A central location may not provide a strong enough signal to all devices. A modem extender allows you two points of signal interaction. with clarity and strength. Check with the Geek Squad for the exact device. That's what I did. Installed it and needs are met in 2 story house, in all rooms. Good luck.

QuestionWe have wireless thru spectrum. We have 2 tv, 2 pc, 1 laptop, 3 phones, 2 printers. Wireless seems to work but need computers, laptop and printers to all network to each other. Also need phones to print to wireless printer. What is est cost?

- Answer I had somewhat same scenario but only 1 ring flood light camera, 3 streaming machines, 3 TVs, 2 gaming units , printer, 3 computers etc. Tried 3 different high end routers and spent lots of green, none of them where strong enough or worked. My solution spend 200 dollars get Geek SQUAD high tech plan and free in home tech consultation, let them take all the stress away. Money for EQUIPMENT not included with mentioned plans but WELL worth it! Solved my problem using Netgear Orbi mesh unit. Not perfect but very satisfactory. Hope this helps YellowFlores!

QuestionI have xfinity internet /WiFi and a dell laptop and desktop WiFi stopped working with both of them. Don’t think it’s a WiFi issue because phones and tablets are connecting fine. Very frustrating because I do work stuff from home in thevenings.

- Answer Hi Cag44 – That’s a tough one to diagnose without actually getting hands on with your router. I’d suggest looking into replacing your Xfinity router with a new one. We can some on over to your house and set it up under the Home Wi-Fi setup you’re looking at.

- Answer Yes. This system should reach. I have a camera hooked up on the fence in the alley (50 feet) from the house and it works great! The system works great upstairs or downstairs, front yard, back yard. The best!

- Answer We just had a great experience where Wi-Fi was set-up, Ring doorbell installed, 2 outdoor Arlo security cameras mounted and set up, and Sonos Connect running on 2 sets of outdoor speakers and all done in 1 visit. Took about 2 1/2hours for all. I don’t want to speak to price but very reasonable.

- Answer Related to your question: The units should be fine with limited bandwidth as long as there isnt a physical issue with the router. Alerting to the outside world may be on a little delay, but communication between each other should be fine. Not related to your question: You need to have a reliable third party IT company come take a look at your network, specifically to run a site survey and look for interference from other networks. If i had to take a well educated guess, i'm going to say that you probably have your gear on default channels, and very likely have several neighbors running the same gear on the same default channels.
