The light that runs up the center to show the water level can be turned off. The small horizontal lights that show how strong you have the blower on, cannot. They are very small and can be covered with a piece dark tape, but I just covered them with a swipe of a black sharpie.

The internal light can be switched on and off, but the power level light will remain on unless you turn off the device.
