The only pre-filer you need to replace, is the odor reducing one ( one that came wrapped). If you use the other one, all you need to do is wash it. I used a small amount of shampoo and it did the trick.

The Air Genius 5 is supplied with one extra filter in the box. But filters are washable which saves you money! It's definitely a great deal.
