It should come with a transformer type cord like the kind you’d get with a rechargeable beard trimmer or DustBuster.

It was right in the top of the box for me. I had to take the power cord out first to take the fan out.

No the power cord should have been in the box banded up or ours was.

The cord is not hidden. It is a 1 inch by 2 inch transformer box cord. It is tucked into the bottom of the cardboard protective material. If not there then It must be missing from the package.

It should have been included in the box. It is not built in, you can unplug it from the unit. The connection to mine came loose :(
