“I just purchased the Honeywell Home-1 Gal Warm Mist Humidifier-Black and it will not stay running. It starts to work and then the red light at the top will come on. I have check and it is level. Please help and let me know what could be wrong.”

Everyone has this very same issue. The answer is very simple. The third turn on the nob is only to quickly warm-up or boil the water. As soon as the water starts to boil, you have to turn the knob down to humidifier mode. Then it will go on until all the water is empty. Fill it up again and do the same each time. That will solve your red light problem.
