I can get 23 hours on low setting. I would use water from a reverse ausmosis system if possible. If not, you will have to clean it every week and that will be annoying in the long run. I like the sound, it is very, very quiet.

Regular tap water can be used in this humidifier. When run on low, this unit can run for up to 24 hours on a single tank of water.
