This unit doesn't sense humidity levels, but you would need a hygrometer.

It runs until the water is gone. It does not measure room humidity.

No, it does not check the air humidity, It only stops when turned off or if the water runs out.

No it doesn’t it runs until it has no water left. The heat element also scales up quickly and requires cleaning

No, has two controls for a light mist or heavier mist - it doesn't measure the room humidity. It will stop if the water runs out.
