• According to the manufacturer this unit is good for pets. I don't have pets but the first time I used this vacuum it picked up a lot embedded dirt that my previous vacuum didn't.

• Works great! We have a cat and a dog that are permanent residents. At times, my daughter volunteers to catsit her dad's two cats! We can definitely tell the difference in the fur everywhere with the two extras. The vacuum works great!
