How easy is it to change the belt? The one on the Shark Navigator Lift Away was impossible to change. We had to give it away. null

Just remove 6 screws and remove the cover underneath the vacuum. Then pull out the beater bar and notice how the belt is placed on the beater bar and post on the other end and replace.

Can't say. The first one of this model never broke a belt in 3 years. Passed it on to my son who needed a vacuum and I bought the same model so hope it's as great as the first one.

Probably very simple because it is a hoover. Ours hasn't gotten to that point yet.

Hi inneedofvacuum! Once the bottom plate and brushroll have been removed, you're ready to place the belt onto the motor spindle. Instructions on how to replace the belt are also provided in the owner's manual. Hope this helps! -Karissa, Hoover Customer Care
