“I would like to add another 512GB storage to the existing 256GB . Can someone share Bestbuy link of supported version, some review says it M.2 other says 2.5, very confusing, will appreciate your inputs.”

On the hard drive: I was able to upgrade the M.2 drive to the PNY 1TB drive with no issues. There is an empty bay for a 2.5" SATA ssd also. I used the SanDisk 1TB internal ssd (I'm sure other brands will also work) and with a simple change in the BIOS, it works perfectly. Hope this helps.
