• We had this issue. Since it runs on a power pack and barrel connector, I discovered the cord was a little loose between the power pack and wall plug portion. Reseat it and it should come on.

• Contact HP support, maybe your monitor is faulty? Click the button on the very right under the screen to turn on the display.

• You may need to restart your computer so it will recognize the new monitor.
