Thank you for the question. The M24f monitor will work with your older PC. The monitor has a VGA connection port, however, a VGA cable is not provided with purchase. Note that this monitor is anti-glare, and although the colors may be more vibrant, they may not be accurate. Because of this, many creative pros in visual industries prefer glossy screens and use them under low or no light conditions in order to represent the most accurate colors possible.
