“How to make two of these monitors show different things? I'm using my MacBook Pro and connected it to two of these monitors using VGA and HDMI. Both screens are showing the same image and I can't get my MacBook pro to detect the second monitor. Help!”

You may need to check your preferences of the displays. Once it is set up, then you should be able to drag your desired display to the other screen. Here is more information: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202351
