“The best buy description of this monitor says that it's G-sync and Freesync compatible. All I see displayed on the monitor and box when I received it was Nvidia's G-sync nothing about Freesync... So, is this Freesync compatible?”

I'm not seeing anything in any of the HP data sheets that indicates that it supports Freesync, but according to the AMD website it does. I'm not sure why it's not listed on the box.
