Yes and no. You can use Ryzen Master (only on AMD chips) to fix the Mhz issues. Without doing that you won't get the full speed from other RAM without using HP's OEM RAM.

Please try again later.HP listed crucial as a reliable option, so I got 64GB of 3200 Mhz Ballistix, (after using their finder tool to get something with the right timings). It was a seamless swap-in from me, I now have 64GB (maximum the Mobo supports) with 4x16GB running at 3200Mhz. I don't know exactly what problems others might have been having, but the motherboard specs seem to indicate that PC4-25600/3200Mhz is the limit (so that's what I got, even though crucial had higher specs available), it might be a Mhz/timing kind of thing, so pre-purchased RAM with different specs may not work.
