“What's the max RAM capacity this laptop cna be upgrades? I've seen multiple answers saying that its 32gb but other say it is 16gb”

• I stuck two 16gb kingston hyper x modules in mine last night and all 32 gb are functioning properly. I think it's 16gb max per channel which is confusing everybody.

• According to HP, this laptop can only be upgraded up to 16 GB DDR4-2933. Page 1 of the service manual for this laptop is where the RAM upgrade info can be found: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06646125

• I’m seeing the RAM can be upgraded to 32GB and 64GB. I am not sure which is right. I’m sure it isn’t 16GB. I just swapped out one of the 4GB sticks with a 16GB and functions properly and reads 20GB.
