“I noticed that the Windows 10 OS is on the 128GB Solid State Drive. Is this enough space? It would seem that after window updates and such after a while you will need to upgrade the SSD M.2 drive to a larger size. Does anyone have any thoughs on this?”

Yes, that's more than enough space for the OS and to install several additional programs. For best results, use the HDD to store your files, not the SSD.
