• It should fit into the M.2 slot on the motherboard once you remove the 128 gigabyte NVMe SSD which was already on the motherboard in that slot. Download Samsung drivers for the 970 EVO and Samsung data migration software from Samsung's website (google Samsung data migration software). Hope this helps.

• HP does not maintain a database of compatible parts but I have no reason to believe you would have an issue upgrading to that drive.
