- Answer No. This printer doesn't use ink, it uses paper with Zink (Zero Ink) technology. The color is built in to the paper, similar to a Polaroid camera.

- Answer You should check the requirements before attempting to print your own passport photo. You can print your own, and may want to use software to make sure it's acceptable. The paper in this printer is heat sensitive and may not be the best option for an official document.

- Answer Thank you for reaching out. The Sprocket printer prints through Bluetooth so you would have to connect the camera to a computer or transfer the photos to a smartphone.
