I purchased this laptop and in-store they asked if I wanted to buy a warranty (which I declined). However, this comes with a standard HP warranty that does not require (to my knowledge) any registration on the HP site. I believe your laptops information is automatically uploaded to them. I could be wrong because I was updating a lot of programs and HP Omen was one of those things and I might have uploaded to them myself. Either way, I got a popup telling me when my warranty expires.
