Hello and thank you for asking. The HP Victus 16-a1023dx gaming laptop has one HDMI 2.1 port for an external monitor HDMI 2.1 supports up to 240Hz referesh rates for 1080p and 1440p and 144Hz for 4K. There is also an USB-C port that can support DisplayPort 1.4a, which has the same specification. The USB-C port can be used to charge the laptop battery by using a 100W/20V Type-C adapter or a power bank when running light loading tasks. System-off charging is only supported on 20V Type-C adapter or power bank. For optimal performance and battery chargeability while gaming and rendering, use the power adapter that ships with the PC.
