• Thank you for your question about the upgradability of the HP Victus laptop! Yes, you can upgrade the SSD and the memory on this. You can find the Maintenance and Service Guide on the HP Support page for this laptop. Although you will be able to perform those upgrades, HP recommends going through an HP-authorized service center to do any servicing on its products.

• YouTube isn't just for cat videos (no offense to Taylor Swift)! You can find videos there on the process. It's pretty simple and straightforward, and unless you're a klutz, you shouldn't have a problem, but if after viewing the YouTube videos you still have doubts, the extra money spent on a licensed technician wouldn't be a waste.
