A:AnswerWithout the usage of VESA mounts, I am afraid that this monitor is unable to turn vertically and enter portrait mode. The monitor does have some slight tilt, however it is very little and will not allow for you to turn it vertically.

A:AnswerI can confirm you can wall mount these, as long as you have the appropriate VESA plate. I purchased two of these the other day and mounted them right up to my dual monitor stand. The black screws behind the stand are the VESA mounting points (100x100). I am about to go pick up a third one of these for my single monitor mount and use in the vertical configuration!
