How does the front come off for batteries? null

Front has clips and little magnetic that holds it on

Battery cover removal. Position mouse in normal operating position. Lift cover as you would a car trunk , under the HP sign. There are 2 little magnets holding it down. That's all. I use my fingernails, and it works just fine.

Battery replacement is on the top of the mouse and it's the rear section that snaps off
