Anyone have problems consistently charging a controller? I put controllers on and they are plugged in and charge symbol comes on in front of controller on base and then I pick up the controller and it isn't charged or worse is dead. Defective? null

Ours has worked fine. We have had it a month. The charge light indicator works pretty consistently. When we use controller it seems to last a long time - at least for us. I have played for 2-3 hours and have only run it down once.
 Could be you have a bad one.

I just posted a review indicating exactly this. The first unit I bought behaved as you describe so I exchanged it. The new one was just as bad so I returned it.

My son has not had any problems with charging his remotes. Chargers just fine.

yes it does it to our gold controller. the black ones are fine.
