As long as you keep the same speed and DDR4 its good, it is recommended to buy RAM in pairs...however, yes you could mix RAM speed it would just run as fas as the slowest clock(not recommended). Just dont mix 4GB with say 8GB or 16GB sticks or any combination of. If you upgraded to Corsair you would good(but I'm a Corsair fanboy;-)). You would have to see what the MB can handle for speed as any RAM over what it can handle it would just be a waste.
