Dear BK, If the DVD player has Bluetooth then it will connect to the headphones. If no Bluetooth, then there is an auxiliary cord that can be plugged into the headphone jack on the DVD player. As far as the Nintendo switch, there is no Bluetooth feature for headphones. The console has a headphone jack that you can plug the headphones into.
