“Does this fit a MacBook Pro model number A2289?”

• I just purchased this cover for my MacBook A2289 and it doesn’t fit the bottom piece. I don’t know if I’m applying it wrong, seemed simple but I can’t get the clasps you grip all the way around the bottom. The top fits perfectly and goes on easily, so I would assume that’s how to bottom would fit. I am going to return and purchase from the Apple store.
