This microwave is only 700 watts, and most microwaveable foods give directions for 1100-watt ovens. Try adding about 10 seconds to the recommended directions, (full power), and if they suggest 50% power, give it 70%.

This component is part of the high voltage circuit and provides the microwaves that generate the heat.
