YES,.....this cable will work since it is MICRO USB.....the only difference is the thickness of + and -. this cable made for PS4 controller has a thicker gauge wire or more strands in the individual wires to allow for more conductivity for higher B+ (voltage) and higher Current. A prior response erroneously made a comment regarding voltage and current......as this wire will be rated to carry higher values compared to the other one that is very similar and costs MORE. if you supply this cable with 4vdc, then the output will be 4vdc, and if you supply this cable with 18vdc, then the output of this cable will be 18vdc. The cable can handle MORE power supplied thru the cable is all....but the voltage and current levels from your charging source will not be altered, with this cable at all, while charging your cellular device. conversely, if you tried to supply a charge to a PS4 controller with a cell phone MICRO-USB cable, it may not charge as well, not being the thicker stranded type. but probably wouldnt matter much. we are talking less than 18vdc and Milli-Amps....like .00047 compared to 1amp as a loose based example, so not enough current/energy/heat to fry the cable either way you use it. most of the vinyl jacketing/insulation is UL rated at 600volts for appliances etc at minimum. buy it and use it for whatever needs a micro-usb, you are super good to go with this cable for anything you need to use it for.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello BLONDEMUNCHKIN, this cable is designed to charge Dualshock 4 controllers, therefore the voltage and amperage may vary and could cause damage to your phone, however if the amperage/voltage output is the same you can use it with no problem.
