A:AnswerYou can connect the DVD player into TV using a 3.5 mm to RCA cable
adapter. If your TV doesn't have an AV input (red, white and yellow), you can use the converter model NS-HZ330
A:AnswerWhen I have that happening, I just push the button that takes you to the root menu and after doing that a few times it hasn't been as annoying. I actually like the Last Memory feature when I'm in the middle of watching a DVD movie, I can hit Pause and then turn the player off and when I turn it back on it resumes where I left off - no having to search thru and hope I find the spot where I left off. I haven't had that on my other players - works the same with my audio CD's. It is a work around, but it has worked well for me. Many of the instructions for these small electronics are translated from whatever foreign language into English - that is why they sometimes don't work all that well. I love this player - it does what I ask for the most part - I just wish the volume was better. One of my first ones went from 0 - 20 but it was almost too loud at 7. My hearing has not deteriorated that badly to the point I sometimes can't make out nuances of words at 20! Ah well - such is life. Hope my answer did help in some small way.
