• There’s a magnet included in the box, i use that to Test if I can use the cookware., enamel Dutch oven is ok.

• Put it on the burner it will work if there is steel in the cookware. Try putting a magnet on the cookware you want to use if magnet sticks you can use it if not it won't work. It won't turn on if right cookware is not used.

• Get a magnet and if it sticks to the bottom of the pan then its good. Has to be magnetic to work.

• No. You can only use pots and pans that a magnet will stick to.
