• I had the same problem with a different induction cook top. I found the pan could not be used on induction cooktop. For safety reasons the cooktop with not turn on.

• As long as stove is plugged in it will show L to tell you that heating area is safe to touch. After cooking it will show H and change to L after it cools down.
