“Hi, I would like to know if this INDUCTION is in reality CHEAPER to use than our home stove ? Would I really be saving our energy $$ using this for the many uses we would usally use on our large electric stovetop ?? Please let me know asap THANKS”

I have found this cooktop to be much more efficient than using the electric stovetop with coils in my house. Since the induction cooktop has a magnetic interaction with the cookware used (compatible cookware must allow a magnet to stick to the bottom surface), there is very little wasted energy. For example, I have been able to boil large pots of water in a matter of minutes using a medium setting (4 out of 10). This reduction in cooking time, alone, should save you money. In comparison, only a fraction of the heat created by electrical coils found on a typical stovetop actual transfers into the cookware.

Cause the kitchen stove require a large amount of electric to start out with. This portable one it just turn on and off due to enough heat that you have set for when you are cooking. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.
