Yes, shelfs can be moved to fit beer bottles. I have my top shelf with bottle beer, fits about 20 bottles. My Middle shelf I have can beer fits about another 20 or so. Bottom shelf I put my wine bottle fits 4. Bottom of fridge can store about 8 more can beer. If you want all bottle beer then you will not be able to put wine bottles
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The shelves are adjustable but they are limited to where they can be moved because of the design. You will most likely take one shelf out if the intent is beer. I keep wine on it's side and it works great.

With standard 12oz bottles you can remove one shelf and get 2 racks of bottles to stand upright but the wire shelves tend to make the bottles a tad unstable. Be better off just laying the bottles down and stacking that way.
