Hi There, It's normal for wine cooler to feel warm to the touch. The compressor generates heat as it runs, and that heat is disbursed through coils that are close to the outside surfaces. Insignia Support Alvin www.insigniaproducts.com
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Perfectly normal. Refrigerators move heat from the cold interior to the outside of the unit. (Heat comes in to the fridge when you open the door or put warm cans in, or by slow conduction through the insulated walls) That heat has to be rejected to the environment. This cooler rejects heat from the top, where the warm surface creates air currents that sweep the heat away. Expect the top surface to be a little warm when the compressor is running, and a little cool when it is not.
