• I don't think so - the unit plugs into the wall and, like most other appliances, needs to be kept dry.

• The owner manual strictly says indoor use only, and not in direct sunlight. We tried it inside and out, didn't work well either way.

• Based that we have to keep in on 37 degrees to keep cold inside and the minimum is 35, I would say outside would be an issue.
