How wide is the space between the shelves? null

The shelves are adjustable to meet your needs. There are 3 wire shelves that I have in every other space so it is a little over 7 inches between each shelf. The slots for the shelves to slide into are about 3 and 1/2 to 3/4 inches apart. The space between the last shelf and that bottom is 8 inches and there is a safety to hold a few items on the bottom. It is a small space on the bottom but you can fit cans or bottles of water, Gatorade, juice, etc. I have two bottles of wine laying down on the bottom and they are secure.
