Hi, I am not 100 percent sure about that usage because I never have used it outside, but I can tell you I use it in the house with inside temp at 73. with that being said I have had it turned down to 34 and it froze my back row of beer. S0 now I keep it set at 37 and my drinks are plenty cold enough. Hope this helps!
