“I have a Selfi Ring Light to take videos from my iphone. The usb connection is only 3' to the computer. Can I use this extension to take videos 6-10 feet from my computer? Thank you”

• Hi Waldo, Well, if you get the 6’ cable, like I did, you’ll be able to extend whatever usb cable, that ends with a Type-A male USB plug, up to 6 feet. Your extended cable will work exactly the same as your original cable. This cable connection is solid; INSIGNIA makes quality cables. :) So, extending a 3’ compatible usb cable (iPhone cables used to end with Type-A male USB plugs) with this will give the cable a 9’ length. Note: If you are unsure about “Type-A”, use a search engine, like DuckDuckGo, to search “USB Type-A”. :)
