• Probably 5 feet or so. A short heavy-duty extension would be fine.

• I'm not certain as to the exact length of the power cord, however, it does not appear to be 6' in length. I have my power cord plugged into a heavy duty extension cord and have not had any issues as of yet (and do not believe there will be any issues). Hope this info helps, it is a very nice and handy freezer.
