“Bought this in Summer. Can this unit be run in Fridge mode in the GARAGE during Wisconsin Winter weather? Or should I change to Freezer mode? Or turn it off during the cold weeks? (Our garage is NOT heated and Wisconsin winters can be brutally cold :) )”

It's garage rated. But having lived in MN for many years I know fridges struggle in sub freezing weather. I'd turn it off, put some spotted cow and raw curds in it and hope for the best.
