Yes it is part of the push button key pad on the door

Hi Pat, If you mean a physical lock to prevent opening, no. It has a control lock function to keep kids from playing with the temperature buttons (requires holding the LOCK button down for 3 seconds to unlock). I'll say the door is well sealed and can be tough to open for kids. My daughter is unable to open it. I have to give it a good tug to get it open myself.
