Will this work with an Acer Aspire 1 null

My recommendation check the voltage use on the lap top original cable in and out because that will be the most important part of the process since the voltage in this particular item can be adjusted however also need to look for the right plug to be inserted in the computer check those two things first then if the voltage is the right one and one of the tips fit properly you should not have any problems.
