This unit supplies @ 2 amps which are far less than needed for your TV. Amperage is the amount of energy required to operate an electrical device such as a circular saw may require 12 amps to operate using 110v. power. You should be looking at adapters similar to those used on laptop computers which provide the power requirements your TV needs.
