First, confirm the voltage needed by your camera matches one of the output voltages of this device. Next look for an image molded or stamped into your camera near the input jack or in the documentation that shows the center pin needed by your camera is positive (+) while the outside jacket of the plug is negative (-). Reversing the polarity or using too high a voltage will damage your camera.
