A:AnswerElectrical cords are ot rated for wattage. They are rated for line amps. The unit you are looking at has an output of 1300 mamp, (milliamps). That is not enough to power an HP laptop. Most HP laptops need 19 volts at 2-3 Amps. Check at a Goodwill store. They will have a bunch of power supplies. Or order a new supply through Best Buy.
A:AnswerMy Breg polar ice cube stopped working this morning. I bought this insignia universal AC Adapter from Best Buy. It work perfectly. Put the switch to 6V output. I used the plug tip that was color coded red which worked with my unit. I hope this helped.
