A:AnswerHi! This unit has an Automatic defrost type. Automatic and adaptive defrost systems prevent and remove ice build-up by circulating heat as needed; automatic systems typically run on a timer while adaptive systems use sensors to determine when to circulate the heat.

A:AnswerOur freezer sets solid and it has not moved since the delivery people from geek squad leveled and started it up. They did a great job and made sure the area was picked up of all packing material up.
A:AnswerYes it does, The controller on front of the door has the ability to switch between freezer mode and refrigerator mode which essentially changes the temperature range.
A:AnswerI pulled up to he manual and it doesn't actually state temperature needs. It does say to locate it away from heat sources. The only caveat about low temps is "Extremely cold temperatured may prevent the freezer from performing properly."
Sorry I can't be if more help. I thought that a garage was perfectly fine but I am not seeing that in print.
A:AnswerThank you for your inquiry! Yes, most freezers have a switch or button that allows you to disable the light and noise when opening the freezer. This feature is usually for energy-saving purposes or for use in noise-sensitive environments.
